Welcome to Kits For Kenya.
Our aim at Kits For Kenya is to provide football equipment to the people of Miwani in the Nyando district of Kenya.
Miwani is experiencing lost hope, through deprivation, poverty, HIV, Drug abuse and high crime levels. A football tournament born out of the ashes of turmoil, now stands as a beacon of hope and peace.
This was a vision of which brought the people of Miwani together.
The Annual Miwani football tournament is now in it's 6th year, with 31 teams participating and approx 8000 spectators at the last final.
Gabriel Oguda and Kennedy Odhiambo are co-organisers of this tournament and give so much time and effort into making the tournament a success.
This is where we come in....
We sincerely hope to get as much help as we can from our communities and businesses in order to help build up stock of football related equipment including kits, boots, balls etc.
Everybody needs hope therefore we would be grateful if you could help us to help others who are a lot less fortunate than ourselves.
